Vision Proper - Living out a defined vision at WHBC takes into consideration four connected questions:
(what are we doing?) mission mandate - Learning together to follow Jesus Christ. (how are we doing it?) mission map - The activities of: worship, connect, serve (why are we doing it?) mission motives - vibrant/team leadership, personal spiritual development, participatory worship, intentional relationships, healthy families, our community’s needs (how do we know we are successful?) mission measures - Worship use gifts in our worship service attentive and open to God daily priorities and obedience God oriented Connect active participation in a small group willing connection with church body Serve involved in local/global outreach sharing faith with Blessing strategy trained in basics of evangelism Grow apply scripture to life - spiritual disciplines accountable and authentic relationships engaged in spiritual coaching Give biblical stewardship time & talents living financially responsible Pray daily personal prayer praying with and for others seeking God for wisdom in life decisions Family resolving conflict with wisdom healthy communication household of fun |
